Mission

Our Mission

Guided by Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), InnovTech builds the capacity of underrepresented and underserviced communities to tackle unemployment, inequality and poverty. We prioritise a just, gender-responsive transition towards the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

What this means in practice

• We teach practical digital skills so that women and youth can access work, education and services.

• We strengthen community cyber-safety and digital rights.

• We help communities prepare for and adapt to climate risks using technology and data.

• We promote civic participation and accountable, transparent governance.

Our Alignment
SDG 9 (primary), with contributions to SDGs 4, 5, 10, 13 and 16, South Africa’s NDP 2030, and the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
